Crossing America For A Cure is a fundraiser hosted by the Celebrate Hope Foundation, Inc. Board members, Al DeCesaris, Jr. and his sister Ida Heck, created the fundraiser in honor of Ida’s daughter, Jenna, who was born with a devastating, neurological disorder called Sturge-Weber Syndrome. Inspired by the strength and determination of his playful and energetic 9-year-old niece, Al will bicycle across America to create awareness about Sturge-Weber Syndrome and raise much needed funds for the diagnosis, research, and treatment of the disorder.
You can make a difference! Follow Al's bicycle journey across America, spread the word about the cause, become a sponsor, and make a donation. Your support will greatly improve the lives of countless Sturge-Weber Syndrome patients like Jenna and help the efforts to find a cure. All profits from Crossing America For A Cure go to the Hunter Nelson Sturge-Weber Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
